Thoughtful at-home care to help protect the condition of the luxury bags you love. The Pristine System brings the cleaning and conditioning steps together for compatible handbags, leather shoes and leather apparel.
After dry wiping and a successful spot test, apply a small amount of Cleaner to a clean white microfiber cloth. Gently wipe dirt, surface buildup or mold that dry wiping cannot remove.
Air-dry naturally for a few hours, ideally around 3 hours or until completely dry. Once the leather is completely dry, apply a small amount of Lotion to a separate clean white microfiber cloth and gently condition suitable leather.
The System contains one microfiber cloth. Use a separate clean white microfiber cloth for the lotion step.
For compatible calfskin, cowhide, goatskin, grained calfskin and coated canvas. Suitability depends on the material, finish and condition; always spot-test first. A brand name alone does not establish compatibility.
Do not use on exotic skins, Barenia leather, nubuck, suede, untreated vachetta, nylon, fabric, uncoated canvas/toile or fabric linings. Ask an expert before treating delicate, aged, painted, metallic, specialty-finish or uncertain leather.
Read the complete Care Guide before use.
Pristine is for routine at-home care and maintenance, not a substitute for professional leather restoration. Pen and ink marks, deep scuffs, color transfer, rub marks, discoloration, scratches and other significant damage may not be removable through regular cleaning. Seek professional advice for advanced care or an uncertain material or finish.
Allow the item to air-dry completely before storage. Keep leather goods in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Less is more: gentle, regular care is better than over-cleaning or over-conditioning.
White cloth. Small amount. Spot-test first. Read the guidance before your first care day.
Pristine is intended for calfskin, cowhide and goatskin, including grained calfskin such as Caviar-style leather, and compatible coated canvas. The material’s finish and condition still matter: always spot-test first.
This includes suitable Hermès leathers except Barenia and exotic skins. Chanel and YSL grained calfskin, and coated canvas used by Louis Vuitton, Goyard, Celine and Gucci, are examples of materials—not guarantees for every item or finish.
Do not use on exotic skins—including crocodile, alligator, lizard, snakeskin and ostrich—Barenia leather, nubuck, suede, or untreated vachetta.
Do not use on nylon, fabric, uncoated canvas or toile, including Hermès Herbag and Garden Party canvas and fabric linings. Coated canvas and uncoated canvas are different materials.
Avoid soaking or aggressive rubbing, especially on delicate, aged, painted, metallic, specialty-finish or untreated leather. If you are unsure about a finish, seek expert advice before applying.
Wipe away loose dust with a clean, dry white microfiber cloth. Colored cloths may transfer dye.
Always apply product to the cloth first, never directly to the leather. Spot-test a hidden area, allow it to dry, and check the color, texture and finish. Use only a small amount and wipe gently; do not saturate, scrub or rub excessively.
Apply a small amount of Cleaner to a clean white microfiber cloth and gently wipe dirt, surface buildup or mold that dry wiping cannot remove. Air-dry naturally for a few hours—ideally around 3 hours, or until completely dry.
Once dry, put a small amount of Lotion on a separate clean white microfiber cloth and apply gently and evenly to suitable leather. Let it dry completely before storing in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Explore the full care guide.
